Welcome to Plaza Baptist Church

Located in Charlotte's historic arts district, Plaza Baptist Church has provided Christians from all walks of life a place to commune with God for nearly 70 years. Here, worship is about God and those that seek Him. The atmosphere is relaxed, yet reverent. Come casually dressed or in a suit; ornamented or ordinary — whatever enables you to focus on having a personal encounter with God.

The service itself blends elements of modern praise and worship music with the time-tested traditional hymns of the past, presented by both a choir and a praise team. Children are welcome, too — you will find nursery services for babies and toddlers, and a separate children's church service for older children. Whatever your preferred worship environment, know one thing — you will hear intelligent, Bible-based exposition and instruction.
